About
Writing analytics has emerged as a sub-domain of learning analytics to investigate and provide feedback on student writing processes and written products. Writing analytics builds on developing technological capabilities in natural language processing, and broader learning analytics research. The Special Interest Group on Writing Analytics (SIGWA) will facilitate discussion on writing analytics research by researchers, writing tool developers, theorists and practitioners to foster a research and practice community in writing analytics. It operates as a SIG within the Society of Learning Analytics Research (SoLAR) and runs a Google group.
